Nestled in the heart of Rocklands, surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside, The White Hart boasts generous outdoor grounds for guests to enjoy. Our spacious lawn beer garden offers plenty of room to sit back and relax, with picnic benches, parasols and open grassy spaces perfect for sunny afternoons. We also have a courtyard, a children's play area and dedicated customer parking, making us a great destination for families, friends and visitors exploring the local area.

When the Norfolk weather turns chilly, there's no better place to settle in than beside our roaring log fire. Our traditional cast-iron fireplace, complete with its distinctive embossed White Hart fender, creates a cosy and inviting atmosphere throughout the colder months. Pull up a chair, enjoy a drink from the bar and soak up the charm of a traditional village pub.

Our Beer Garden & Family Play Area
Our spacious lawn garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink, share a meal or spend a relaxing afternoon with family and friends. With picnic benches, parasols and plenty of open space, there's room to enjoy the outdoors at your own pace. For our younger visitors, our children's play area features a timber climbing frame, slide, swings and climbing wall, offering an extra bit of adventure while the grown-ups unwind nearby.

Our courtyard offers another lovely outdoor space to enjoy, combining shaded seating beneath parasols with a sunny gravel setting. It sits alongside our Rocklands Remembers memorial wall, providing a thoughtful connection to the local community and the people and history that make our village special. Whether you're stopping by for a quiet drink or catching up with friends, the courtyard is a lovely place to spend some time.
At The Bar
The Bar — Great Drinks, Friendly Faces
A proper village pub wouldn't be complete without a welcoming bar, and ours is at the heart of life at The White Hart. With a traditional oak-beamed ceiling, a characterful bar counter and sociable seating, it's the perfect place to meet friends, enjoy a drink or settle in for the evening. Our selection includes cask ales, lagers and other favourites, with four real ales available and a changing range to keep things interesting. Our drinks selection may vary, so there's always a reason to pop in and see what's pouring.
Four-Legged Friends
Dog Friendly Pub
Dogs are very welcome here at The White Hart! We love meeting your four-legged companions after a countryside walk or during a relaxed visit to the pub. To ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for all of our guests, we kindly ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times while inside and out in the grounds. Please note that well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout the bar area and beer garden, but management reserves the right to refuse entry or ask that dogs be taken outside if necessary.
